Vanessa Johansson, President and Chief Custom Designer
As the resident Alchemist, President and Chief Custom Designer for RainShadow Labs, Vanessa Johansson has a well-rounded experiential and educational base from which she lends her talents. With the intention to be an instrument for health and healing on this planet, Vanessa endlessly strives to create the healthiest and most effective skin care products in the world. She has spent the last ten years studying plant medicines including a five-year apprenticeship with a Huichol elder and medicine man, three years with a Seminole Native American medicine man, and Shamans from both Guatemala and Peru. This unorthodox apprenticeship provides Vanessa with a depth, concern and creative capacity that is unique to the personal care product industry. As an Ambassador for the plant medicines of the world, Vanessa’s personal relationship with each unique plant ingredient utilized in our facility supports the creation of truly effective and synergistic formulations.
Vanessa attended BYU and the University of Utah and she is currently completing a Masters degree in Holistic Nutrition and Natural Health. Vanessa is an accomplished businesswoman, co-owning a multi-state franchise development company. Vanessa is a member of the founders group of adinjection.com/XLON Technologies (now Move Networks). www.movenetworks.com counts Walt Disney Company, Paramount, and Univision as investors and strategic partners. She is also a keen student of organizational behavior and studied group behavioral process and dynamics at the Center for Transpersonal Therapy. As a Certified Group Process Worker, Vanessa facilitated paradigm shifting group processes and the development of a Corporate Vision and Mission for Move Networks.
