Please keep in mind that the products listed in our catalog are the base formulations that we offer. We specialize in custom manufacturing so are able to alter any of these bases to meet your needs. Open Stock Bulk:

If you buy unscented/uncolored bases or stock fragranced/colored items this is the category for you. The minimums are small, as listed on the pricing pages, many being 1 gallon or just a few pounds. You can order from our selection of stock bottles, colorants, and fragrances in bulk (see price sheet) to finish and package at your site. By providing this service the beginner can start on a shoestring budget. Order time is usually 1-3 weeks from the time of order until it leaves our docks as we make up everything fresh.

Customized Bulk:

If you buy our open stock bulk and we are altering the formulas using our additive ingredients, and/or our fragrances and colors (we match to Pantone Numbers, ribbons, paper, paint chips, etc.), OR you send us your special ingredients, fragrances, essential oils to add to our base formulas you fit this category. Minimums are 5 gallons wet/50 pounds dry, but can be more depending on the request. Customers in this category package their own products unless meeting the minimum for product packaging as listed below. Order time is usually 2-4 weeks from time of deposit and signed order verification contract receipt in office until it leaves our docks. Time will be quoted on your order verification contract.

Custom Formulation:

If you ask for major changes to existing formulas or ground up formulas you fit this category. There may be a small lab development charge which will be quoted prior to any charges. Minimums are usually 1-3 drums (55 gallons each). This is a large enough minimum to also qualify for packaging. Order time is usually 3-7 weeks from time of deposit and signed contract receipt in house until it leaves our docks. Time will be quoted on your order verification contract.

Contract Filling:

For Customized Bulk or Custom Formulation ordering a minimum of 25 gallons wet or 200 pounds dry per formula, you fit this category. Choose from our packaging supply or your own. Send us your labels, and we can label for you also. Usual product and package time is 4-7 weeks from time of deposit and signed contract receipt in house until it leaves our docks. Time will be quoted on contract. Currently RainShadow Labs does not package any products not made by RainShadow Labs.

Shelf Life:

For optimal shelf life, all products should be stored in a dry area that ranges from 45 degrees to 72 degrees. The following are conservative shelf life ranges when stored in above conditions.
