Skin Essentials

Everyone in the world today has had at least one pimple inflicting his or her life.  Acne is something that is reoccurring and natural.  Why not fight natural with natural?

There are essential oils that can help beautify the skin and fight acne.  Essential oils are a natural gift given to us by Mother Nature.  The five essential oils used for skin treatment are lavender, peppermint, sandalwood, tea tree oil, and geranium.

Sandalwoods texture is thick and is brownish yellowish in color.  Its fragrance is a sweet, warm, woody pleasant smell.  Sandalwood is an antiseptic, astringent, rejuvenator, and has soothing properties.  Because it is antibacterial and antifungal oil, it is a great treatment on acne.  It is also handy on skin that is raw, infected, oily, or dry.

Another name for tea tree oil is the wonder oil for acne and pimples.  This oil is great for spot treatment.  Just dot some on the pimple, and it will be gone in two to three days.

Lavender oil is one of the most versatile oils, but is especially great for the skin.  This is why the Romans always put it in their bath water.  Putting lavender in the bath water can help soothe sunburns, balance oil production, even skin tones, and clear skin.  Lavender is antibacterial, antifungal, and antiseptic.  Lavender is an all-purpose skin care product.

Peppermint has more uses than as a fragrance or flavor.  Peppermint can purify the skin.  It can be used to treat acne and blackheads.  It can also be used for more severe skin problems like infections or diseases.

If there is an individual worrying about wrinkles, than using geranium is for them.  Using geranium along with phytessence wakame will give amazing results in reducing wrinkles.  Geranium oil can also be used for sensitive skin.

All of these essential oils do great things for the skin.  Whether they help the skin with past, present, or future problems these five essential oils can do it.  Incorporating them into skin care routines is a smart idea.
