Benefits of Natural Skin Care Products

Some months ago, I watched a documentary on TV about all of the chemicals in health and beauty products. It particularly highlighted the problems associated with non-natural fragrances and the way they're absorbed into the body through the skin. Then, last weekend, I attended a demonstration for a company that sells all natural cleaning products. The woman who was showcasing the product has celiac disease and was turned on to the product by her doctor because she was having severe reactions to her normal cleaning products. She talked more about chemicals being absorbed through the skin and how it had such a negative effect on her health.

After the presentation, we had a lot to talk about with her knowledge of natural cleaning products and the things I've learned about natural skin care and cosmetics. It really all boils down to the fact that all of these chemicals in our household products arent good for us. Luckily, there are many natural options available to substitute for the chemicals that are found in most products. This can go a long way to improving the health of you and your family.

Many chemicals found in beauty and skin care products have been known to increase the risk of some types of cancer. By using natural ingredients instead, you can eliminate these chemicals and even reduce your risk of cancer. Avocado, grapefruit extract, raspberry, rosemary, and mushrooms are all known to fight cancer and can be readily found in natural cosmetics and skin care products.

Another negative side effect of the chemicals found in these products is that they can cause problems with the immune system. When they are absorbed into your body, they're recognized as a foreign invader and your natural defenses are deployed. This can cause you to have an allergic reaction and even weaken your immune system. Vitamin C, Vitamin E, beta carotene, garlic and omega-3 fatty acids are all found in natural beauty products and can help boost your immune system.

These are just a few examples of the many natural ingredients available to substitute for harsh chemicals in your skin care and cosmetic products. Buying wholesale cosmetics is a great way to be sure you know exactly what ingredients are in your products.
