Dewy skin- it’s a hallmark of dermal happiness and balance. It’s the look we apply highlighters and moisturizer to get, dream about when we go to the beach and pay hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars to our dermatologists to achieve. And lucky for all of us, there’s an easier way. You don’t have to dream any longer. You can save your hard earned cash and say goodbye to the cosmetics you thought you would always need in order to have that dewy, youthful glow. With this easy and simple to make DIY dewy skin serum, your natural glow is about to get a whole lot more accessible- and natural!

You will need:

  • 3 oz Jojoba oil

  • 3 oz Rosehip seed oil

  • Rosemary essential oil

  • Clary sage essential oil

  • Rose essential oil

  • Bottle for storage (we love dark glass for optimum oil protection)

  • Small funnel

Place your funnel in the neck of your bottle and add five drops of each essential oil into the bottle. Follow that with both the Jojoba and Rosehip seed oil. Remove funnel, place cap on the bottle and shake until all of the oils are combined. You can use this serum morning and night, after sun exposure and even as a massage oil if you like. A little can go a long way and if you are an oil cleansing fan, this blend is perfect for that purpose as well. You can also use it as a primer for makeup, but you’ll probably end up forgoing the makeup in favor of the natural radiance of your skin.

Every single ingredient in this simple serum contributes to your skin’s natural dewiness. Jojoba and Rosehip seed oils deliver softening and moisture rich essential fatty acids that prime the skin with much needed elasticity and hydration. Rosemary essential oil encourages circulation to the skin that in turn imparts a rosy glow, Rose essential oil is deeply regenerative and Clary sage protects and stimulates the production of collagen.

Used daily your skin will find balance, hydration, long lost juiciness and radiance that can’t come from makeup. As restorative as it is instantly beautifying, this DIY recipe makes a fantastic gift or party favor, lasts a long time and can easily be tailored to your preferences should you want to add or take something out. The result is easy, effective and customizable skincare that supports your skin’s natural radiance for life.
