Lemongrass Essential Oil: Multipurpose Maverick

The beauty of essential oils is not always that they are good for any one thing, but that one oil can be used for a myriad of purposes with equal effectiveness. This is most definitely the case with lemongrass essential oil. It is equally as good in aromatherapy as it is in skincare. It can be put in the diffuser to freshen the room. Needless to say, lemongrass is a multi-use maverick, perfectly suited for your private label needs.

As a skin care essential oil, lemongrass mainly serves to help skin look and feel more firm. It is thus a great oil to use in your private label skin care formulations and is best used a bit diluted because it may initially lead to some redness. However, this is a good thing! Adequate circulation is absolutely necessary to have a glowing looking complexion, and what better way to achieve an irresistible glow than by using such a deliciously exotic oil as lemongrass?

Lemongrass has an almost intoxicating aroma that smells of sweet citrus, minus the slight bitterness of real citrus oils like lemon or grapefruit. As a natural perfume it is absolutely lovely and lends an exotic edge to those who wear it. An added bonus is that lemongrass is used in aromatherapy to help you feel good too!

As a natural cleansing agent, lemongrass really does work wonders. If you live in a wet and mold-prone environment, using lemongrass essential oil to clean your home is a fabulous idea.

These days, it makes life easier and frees up your time and energy to have something like lemongrass essential oil on hand. Give it it’s rightful place in your cupboard, and grab it any time you need to clean, make the room smell better, or bring yourself up out of an emotional rut. And of course, include it in your private label skin care products for an exotic skincare boost.
