The Magical Fragrance Therapy of Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy uses pure essential oils to help with a lot of different ailments a person may be suffering from. This can be something physical, such as irritate skin or acne. It can also be something emotional, such as stress or depression.
Aromatherapy uses oils that are taken from a lot of different plants. The oil is usually taken by way of steam distillation, though sometimes it is extracted by cold-presses. Cold pressing is an extraction practice that is used on flowers and roots. Bark and fruit also can have their oil extracted by cold-press.
Aromatherapy uses the fragrance of these oils to protect and aid the body. It helps ease aches and pains. It can be used to aid injuries that people receive.
Aromatherapy is sometimes used by massage therapy. Massage therapy applies the oil directly to the skin, and massages the oil in to the muscles and tissue. This is a great option for people suffering from emotional and physical discomforts, such as back pain or stress.
Oil can also be used through the air. A lot of people choose to put essential oils in to bowls to smell or in room diffusers. This type of application uses the fragrance of the oil to aid the body.
Don’t be fooled that this is the same as perfume. Perfumes or fragrance oils are NOT the same as pure essential oils. Only pure, essential oils will be able to give the long-term results necessary.
Essential oil therapy works. They offer a wide variety of medicinal benefits, both to children and adults alike. They are able to heal the body in a natural, and chemical-free way, that prescription drugs cannot.
